I have served as your Neabsco District Supervisor since October 1982 when I was appointed by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors to fill the unexpired term of the late James J. McCoart who resigned for health reasons. Since that time you have elected me to six additional terms of office. I am the most senior member of the Board of County Supervisors in length of service (and past Vice Chairman for two terms). I currently serve as immediate past Chairman and member of the Virginia Railway Express Operations Board and a Commissioner of the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission. I served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Northern Virginia Regional Commission, two consecutive terms as State President of the Virginia Association of Planning District Commissions and am past President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Counties.

I am proud of the many accomplishments which we have made together for Dale City and Prince William County over the past 25 years and I have made "Service to My Constituents" my theme since I have been in office. I have assembled a highly efficient team at my Neabsco District Office at 4361 Ridgewood Center Drive who also are eager to serve you and to provide help and assistance.
